The MCHMRT is a PA state certified response team and is composed of three divisions physically located throughout the county. They respond to any incident involving chemical or other hazardous spills or leaks.  This is done at the request of the incident commander through the 9-1-1 center.  The primary response is handled by Divisions 911 and 919 and is supplemented by Division 901 who provides certified technician manpower at special requests.  County Public Safety staff maintain an on-call rotating schedule for 24 hour on-site or phone assistance to first responders.
